Thursday, July 12 at 7:00 PM, the Lombard Historical Society and the Glen Ellyn Historical Society join together to present actress and historian Leslie Goddard portraying Alice Paul Women's Rights Suffrage Leader. The program is at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street in Glen Ellyn. This is a free program. All are invited to learn about this important person in our history. Alice Paul was the dynamic women's suffrage leader who pioneered techniques of picketing, parades, and non-violent civil disobedience.
