Event Description:
The Glen Ellyn History Center hosts David L. Keller, the President of the Camp Douglas Restoration Foundation as he presents a program about Camp Douglas, Chicago's infamous Civil War prisoner camp.  The History Center is located at 800 N. Main Street in Glen Ellyn.  The program begins at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10.  Tickets are $5.00 per person.  More confederate war prisoners died in this camp than on any Civil War battlefield.  Keller is the author of the book by the same title.  Call 630-469-1867 for information.
