Event Description:
Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents actor and historian, Terry Lynch in a program titled, “Happy Illinois Bicentennial Birthday Bash,”  on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 PM. The program is in the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street. On Dec. 3, 2018, the state of Illinois will be 200 years old! Terry Lynch will include in his presentation everything from Illinois’s early years, historical happenings, famous Illinoisans, as well as info about Illinois counties.  Birthday cake for everyone will be  served.  Tickets are $ 6 Adults, $5 GEHS members and $5 students 18 and under.  This is just part of the GEHS’s Illinois Bicentennial Celebration Series.  Call 630-469-1867 and check the website,
