Juggling the responsibilities of work and parenting can seem daunting. Schonbrun’s research helps individuals learn to manage their career, parenting and marriage in more effective and fulfilling ways. She will detail ways to achieve a work-life balance and offer tips to help parents/guardians discover new approaches to working and parenting. Participants will learn to create a work-family enrichment mindset. Schonbrun will also explain the function of guilt and how to effectively manage this emotion when it arises.

Schonbrun is a clinical psychologist, assistant professor at Brown University and co-host of Psychologists Off the Clock. Her most recent book is “Work, Parent, Thrive: 12 Science-Backed Strategies to Ditch Guilt, Manage Overwhelm, and Grow Connection (When Everything Feels Like Too Much).”
