Event Description:
Presented by: Sherry Quam Taylor, CEO of QuamTaylor LLC

We know that this year has been especially challenging for those of you who have led your nonprofit's fundraising initiatives in 2020. That's why we are having Sherry Quam Taylor, CEO of QuamTaylor LLC, back to help us start preparing for a stronger future of funding. Sherry's presentation, "HOW TO Become Less Dependent on Government, Program, or Event Revenue (and Grow Individual Donations)" is a crucial topic as we push ahead into a different world. Funding through diverse revenue sources is the name of the game - but if you're not prioritizing mid- and major-level individuals, you're leaving money on the table. She'll share what you SHOULD be doing right now to build a stronger funding future for your organization. And she'll also share what organizations were doing right in 2019 that kept their funding super strong through the challenges of 2020. But, most of all you'll leave encouraged and more confident in your path to securing larger gifts from individuals. For more information on Sherry visit: www.QuamTaylor.com

A link to join will be emailed prior to the meeting.

The
Glen Ellyn Non-Profit Connection is a resource to connect non-profits through networking and education.  Non-Profits have similar issues and struggles. Together we can make each other stronger.
At these meetings, each organization will:
  1. Introduce themselves, their organization and share upcoming news, events and services. We will also discuss any struggles at our round-table at the meeting.
  2. A 30-minute Professional Speaker will be provided on an issue directed specifically to help non-profits.
  3. A Round Table of Discussion & Best Practices will follow as we will discuss the topics of struggles listed previously.  Example topics: fundraising, volunteer recruitment, telling your story, grant writing, transitioning of the Board or staff, etc.  There will be years of experience and people with many talents.  Together we can support each other, foster and collaborate ideas and improve our community.
These meetings are open to all non-profit Chamber Members at no additional charge. We will send out emails confirming further details. Non-Chamber non-profits are encouraged to attend a meeting to be introduced to the program and GECOC membership.
