Friday, October 19, the Salt Creek Civil War Round Table takes over the Glen Ellyn History Center at 800 N. Main Street with a book sale at 6:00 PM and a program at 8:00 PM. Titled, “The Changing of Civil War Memory,” author and historian Robert Girardi will share his knowledge as a speaker, historian, and consultant of the Civil War. The event is FREE! Proceeds from the book sale are donated to Battlefield Restoration. Call 630-469-1867 for information.
