Saturday, December 9 between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, the Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents Candlelight and Gingerbread: A Victorian Holiday Celebration for the Entire Family. The Glen Ellyn History Center at 800 N. Main Street is the beginning location for this event. At the History Center guests can craft Victorian themed ornaments and enjoy snacks and hot chocolate. For their viewing pleasure are the gingerbread houses entered in the gingerbread house contest. They can check out the prize winners. The GEHS thanks Twig and Bloom Garden Club for decorating Stacy's Tavern for the holidays and the museum is open for guests to tour by candlelight.
