The Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents the 9th Annual Auto Festival, Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The location is Historic Stacy’s Corners, 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn. Vehicles arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and the grounds open at 10:00 AM and the vehicles will be visible in the area around Stacy’s Tavern Museum and the surrounding grassy areas. We will have a talk on the history of Glen Ellyn and autos at the History Center and Stacy’s Tavern Museum will be open for visitation.
Heavenly Hotdogs will be on site selling food during the event. Visitors can cast their votes for Best in Show until 2:00 PM, awards to be presented at 2:45 PM. This year’s show is special as we honor Jim Manak, longtime board member of the Glen Ellyn
Historical Society and a founder of the event. Car registration is $15, but festival admission is free for all visitors. Those interested in registering their cars can find registration forms on our website
www.GEHS.org or by calling 630-469-1867.
